Join Your Photo Adventures for Cuba 2016

Cuba is a fascinating country. It isn’t simply the fact that the island is both geographically and politically unique, but it is also simply stunning.  Few destinations conjure up such a sense of romance like Cuba. For travel photographers, it is a paradise.  It’s a step back in time where classic cars roll the streets, beautiful architecture remains from a bygone era, and people remain open and friendly.   We’ll get those classic portraits in Cuba, but let’s not forget about the beautiful landscapes. They’re mostly underrated. From the limestone karst landscape of Viñales to the waterfalls of El Nicho and Soroa, there is plenty of beautiful nature in Cuba.

This photography tour is part workshop and part tour. It’s designed to show you the best of Cuba.  We’ll guide you to some of the most spectacular places on the island.  We’ll put you in touch with the “real” Cuba, too, so you’ll leave understanding what life is like on the island.  We’ll also put you in positions to walk away with some amazing photographs from the country, and an improved photography skill set.

Both Brendan and I are fluent spanish speakers, too, so we’ll be able to help you interact with locals! Read more about the tour on Brendan’s Adventures.

Your Photo Adventures Cuba 2016 Highlights:

The architecture is stunning, the people are warm and there are an endless collection of classic cars rolling down the streets.

We’ll head to a local tobacco farm where you can take part in some of the daily chores, roll your own monticristo, and interact with the locals.

We have a full free day in Trinidad, with options ranging from taking part in one-on-one photo sessions with the photography instructors and exploring the old city on your own.

While most cities in the world were designed for efficiency, Camaguey was purposefully built as a maze. You see, pirates and privateers were constantly attacking the city and thats how they protected themselves.

About Your Photo Adventures Tours

Your Photo Adventures is a partnership between professional travel photographers Brendan Van Son and Jeff Bartlett (that’s me). After we teamed up to run our Destination Morocco tour in February 2016, we knew we wanted to continue running tours together.

As a team, we both take pleasure in not only teaching photography, but also in sharing experiences with our guests. The name – Your Photo Adventures – says it all. We want to help you have an incredible adventure and help you capture your vision (and memories) with your own camera.

We’re excited to run our Cuba 2016 trip because it’s a country that both Brendan and I have traveled. We both fell in love with the wild landscapes, stunning architecture and wonderful people. Now we’d like to share it with you.
