I am back in the Canadian Rockies after an incredible photography tour in Croatia, Slovenia, and Italy. I was there to shoot a portfolio project, chasing wilderness and mountains in a populated continent. To help make my trip easier, I forged a partnership with EuRail.

While I traveled, I had absolutely zero plans. I allowed the weather to dictate my next move. One day, I was dodging the rain in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and the next I was hiking in the sunshine near Villach, Austria. Without my Global Rail Pass, I would have paid a fortune for my lack of planning on last minute travel arrangements. Instead, I was able to hop on and off trains anywhere I chose. By the time I boarded by return flight, I had made stops in Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Austria, Germany and Denmark.

To emphasize my partnership with Eurail, I’m doing something slightly different with my monthly desktop wallpapers. Rather than a single option, I’m sharing five distinct images from three different countries across Europe.
